LEGO is moving LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY™ into a "broader exploration phase" on 1 January 2010. LEGO Learning Institute. There, the concept will be further developed as a tool for systematic creativity. This also means that the official LEGO SERIOUS PLAY Partner Programme has come to an end and LEGO is discontinuing the training offer. When and how LEGO will make its method available for business use again is still open. Until then, LEGO will continue to rely on the contribution and growing experience of those who are already using the method successfully. Former LEGO Serious Play partners like us. StrategicPlay offers a comprehensive training programme starting on 22.02.2009. This is based on the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY™ concept and on concepts that we have expanded and made practical, and enables participants to develop and moderate workshops independently.

Hoffmann Consulting has been using LEGO Serious Play since 2007, has three LEGO Serious Play Diploma Holders and has been an official partner with close contact to LEGO as well as within the global partner community. However, we saw further potential in the method and developed our own method and brand with StrategicPlay from the beginning.

After a long journey with LEGO and partners, we have finally reached an important goal: As a partner community, LEGO has handed over its method to us as an open source model. Although we are no longer an official partner, we are no longer subject to the restrictions of the licence agreement. We are now finally entitled to develop the method further under our own brand and in cooperation with our community and to inspire more people with it through our own training. LEGO now officially leaves the training to us, which we already started successfully in November 2009.

This enables us to offer our clients a broad and flexible range of solutions for innovation and creativity in the company, two factors that are vital for success, especially in the current systemic crisis. In addition, we are currently working hard on further effective workshop concepts for strategic sales and the prototyping of new services. These complement the tried and tested and successful workshop formats for strategy development, for high performance teams and for project and risk management.

With our practically oriented and methodologically sound trainings, we now offer a successful introduction to the design and facilitation of effective workshops for solving complex problems and issues to a wider range of clients. We offer our growing community of StrategicPlay alumni a platform for the exchange of experiences and the further development of the method from practice for practice.

With LEGO Education and the LEGO Learning Institute, we are supported by innovative areas with impressive LEGO employees who continuously research and develop in the area of "Systematic Creativity".

We look forward to many exciting StrategicPlay workshops and to further expanding our exciting partner community in 2010!
